Excited to share that Steve Dowsett has joined Party On! on drums!
We are getting ready for the first of several outdoor performances starting at Breakaway in Danvers, MA on Friday May 14th from 7-10PM. This will be an outdoor, socially distant performance. Bring your own lawnchair and enjoy a night out with some great live music! Supporting venues like Breakaway who have been fighting to survive the pandemic is a great way to give back and contribute to the return of live music in our lives.
A little about Steve...
Steve has been playing drums since his teenage years and has an eclectic musical background. He got his start playing in punk bands in Western Massachusetts where he grew up. While he didn’t major in music while attending Umass Dartmouth, he did take classes on world music and played in a variety of different groups including the Jazz ensemble which would perform out locally. For the past 5 years, he has been playing in Olyphant, a heavy metal band based out of Salem, MA which put out 2 albums and had been playing venues all over New England. Being influenced by drummers of all musical genres and just being a fan of all types of music, Steve is excited to be joining Party On!
